007: Daniel Craig is second longest-serving James Bond as he overtakes Pierce Brosnan

February 20, 2017

Daniel Craig is officially the second longest-serving James Bond of all time, overtaking Pierce Brosnan. While Mr Craig is still officially under contract, it is still unknown whether or not he will star in the next spy saga.

Today is the great day for the British blue-eyed actor who is playing James Bond for 4147 days, it smashed the previous record of Pierce Brosnan (another British performer with blue eyes). Mr Brosnan was 007 during 4146 days, all data taken from the official contracts of both actors.

Original Bond Sean Connery is in fourth place on the list, followed by Timothy Dalton and finally George Lazenby, who appeared in just one film. It is worth to note that The James Bond franchise is now in its 55th year, having begun in 1962 with Dr No. It is the record life for the franchise in the world of cinema, despite of the rumours Bond’s adventures never end.
