Bon Jovi rocks wedding with surprise performance of ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’

Bon Jovi surprised the guests of the Miami wedding reception last weekend. The famous rock singer jumped on the scene and performed his hit of 1986 ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’. In fact, Bon Jovi was attending as a guest at the reception, but he was full of emotions and drive, which transformed into the fantastic performance.

Jon Bon Jovi is a world famous singer and frontman of Bon Jovi rock band, not wedding singer. But being invited as a guest for Miami wedding, Jon surprised the public with performing his hit “Livin’ on a Prayer”. Thirty years later the old good song and its author had great success!

Jazz singer Lourdes Valentin, whose band entertained the guests, started to sing “Livin’ on a Prayer” in a jazz style, and every guest knew the lyrics, so it was just a chorus. Jon Bon Jovi resisted to sing (he’s just a guest, you remember!), but melted and took a microphone for singing his hit.

The singer Valentin told the Associated Press she knew Bon Jovi would be there and prepared the song specifically for him. Watch Bon Jovi’s performance below.
