Sirius XM Great Labor Day Weekend
Sirius XM Satellite Radio ( NASDAQ : SIRI ) had a good long labor day weekend. The market’s were closed, but it is now showing in Tuesday’s pre-market gains. Labor Day, is known as, car weekend. Labor Day is the day that union employees, or anybody else, gets rewarded with a day off to enjoy the last of summer. The day off makes the employee feels so good they decide to buy a new car due to an advertisement on television. While, it may not be that simple, labor day is historically a big car weekend. September itself is historically one of the best selling car weekends of the year. It only makes sense that people would like to listen to good radio on their way back to work.
