Elon Musk has joined Donald Trump’s advisory council

Elon Musk has joined Donald Trump’s advisory council

Elon Musk during the U.S. Presidential elections supported Hillary Clinton, so when the journalists found out that the billionaire inventor joined Donald Trump’s advisory council, they were very surprised.

The billionaire Elon Musk despite having dismissed Mr Trump as ‘not the right man for the job’ during the Presidential election, changed his mind. Now, the President-elect is shaping the transition team, on Wednesday, Trump announced the appointment of the Tesla executive alongside Travis Kalanick, the CEO of Uber.

Being a wise person, Donald Trump decided to appoint Musk despite Elon’s warning that the recent election was not ‘the finest moment in our democracy in general’. According to an earlier expression of Musk, he believed Hillary Clinton’s economic and environmental policies were ‘the right ones’. Mr Trump was elected four days later, and now Musk joins the advisory council of Trump. That’s life.

On Wednesday, Musk and a number of Silicon Valley elites met with Mr Trump to discuss how his administration will affect technology companies. Kalanick, who joked about moving to China if Mr Trump did win the election, will not be in attendance because he is travelling. The session was co-organised by Mr Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner.
