Elon Musk wants ho create an artificial language, his OpenAI lab forced bots to do that using a certain algorithm. The researchers at Musk’s lab forced bots to understand each other’s ‘phrases’.
The OpenAI group published the results of its work on the new artificial language creation. Last week, Musk’s lab could explain exactly how the bots were forced to communicate using this new lingua. It is worth to note that language and all its blocks all based on reinforcement learning.
The concept of such reinforcement learning is popular among the pet owners ho train their dogs or cats, making the centres on rewarding to correct pet’s behaviours. The same with an AI, for the researchers, it means knowing what actions help it in completing a task, and continuing to do them.
Elon Musk’s AI language experiment
In their experiments, the scientists assigned to bots colours (red, green, and blue), then gave a simple task to bots (finding their way to a certain point in a flat world). Without giving the three separate AI a dictionary of commands to help each other, the bots forced to create their own in order to achieve their goal.
