GOP elite weigh in on Rand Paul’s Senatorial campaign
If Rand Paul, son of the famed Dr. Ron Paul, decides to enter the highly contested Kentucky Senatorial campaign will likely face a very harsh opposition. Trey Grayson seems to have the backing of the GOP elite. And that is not something to scoff at, whether you are the son of a viral former Presidential candidate or not.
Trey Grayson will likely be plugged into the McConnell
machine. Money should not be an obstacle for Grayson. If Paul gets
into the primary he will force Grayson to spend that money early and often. That is when Rand Paul’s national base of donors may come into play. How much
cash is the question, will Paul raise $2 or $3 million on his own? If
he does, it will be an expensive GOP primary.
This guy, Grayson, is going to hook up with the worst that you can imagine from the furthest side of the GOP neo-con conglomerate. This is not a pleasant truth to understand. But it does mean one thing: That in order for Rand Paul to have a chance, for the next week he needs to raise money like nobody’s business.
Rand Paul should not have a problem once it gets to the actual electoral process. His views and his platform stand out in a way that is head and shoulders above his competition. He offers a Libertarian platform that is thirsted for particularly in the middle of the country where factory and bluecollar jobs are being hit the hardest by the rescission.
When Rand Paul finally announces his official candidacy he will surely be welcomed with open arms simply because he is offering the logical solution to the problems that ail this country day in and day out at the present moment.
However, Kentucky is a state that embraced Jim Bunning with open arms and continued to coddle him as he got in line behind the neo-con agenda of the last eight years. So Rand Paul needs to tred lightly and be very clear and concise in the way that he explains the reason he is running for the US Senate.
He should probably stay away from attacking anything that would involve attacking Bunning’s record and stick to setting himself apart by articulating his platform alone.
The bottom line is that Rand Paul along with Peter Schiff could very well be the figureheads of the Liberty movement explosion. Perhaps even more so than Ron Paul, because they have the chance to accomplish the result of power and the acquisition of an office in the Senate. Stay tuned Liberty lovers this is going to get interesting.

Voters are hungry for real straight talk about solutions to our economic problems. Rand Paul is the right person with the right message. Will the GOP insiders welcome him or will they fight him and lose the seat?

His first goal is 100,000 by June 30th. His is already at 80,000. So June 30th their is an effort to have a moneybomb to get him over the hump. They report 1st Q numbers, him raising 100k will look very impressive.

Money only goes so far.
Dr. Paul is rapidly building networks across Kentucky, among other states.
The neocons will try to win on anti-Obama rhetoric. Let them. Conservatives have enough Compassion & Change.
We’re starting to notice that Oh Equals Dubya.

Our nation would propser with more political types such as Rand Paul… Even, if we had only 10-20 Ran Paul types in the Senate I sure would sleep more.
Grayson, isn’t a nice guy at all. At least he didn’t come across that way at a CC event two years ago. But, we all have our worst days at times. Maybe my introduction to Grayson was one of his bad days.
