All law abiding citizens should have the right to protect themselves, their families and homes from crimminals. The problem is not the legal-carrying citizens that are responsible, hard working citizens, the problem we have is with illegal weapons in the hands of crooks and crimminals. Imagine coming home from work after a hard day to find yourself being faced with an armed crimminal; threatening your family, yourself – wouldn’t you want to defend yourself, those that you love, or become a three-line caption in the obituary because some loser was able to buy an illegal gun.
Secondly, as a huge animal lover, I don’t hunt, but love to go target shooting-paper. I enjoy it, and as a legally-abiding citizen, I favor allowing those of us that follow the law to have and carry firearms- one of these people could save your life one day.
