German Parliament Votes Anti-Isis Mission

German Parliament voted Friday sending reconnaissance warplanes into Syria with 445 in favor, 146 against it and 7 abstaining.

Just two days ago the British Parliament too approved the same to extend its airstrikes from Iraq to Syria to fight against Islamic State, also called Isis, terror group.

Isis is a global threat and on November 13 the group launched multiple attacks in French capital Paris killing 129 innocent people and more than 300 others were injured in the assaults.

Germany will provide logistical support in the form of jets in the global battle against Isis. The nation will be sending 1,200 soldiers and military hardware in support to the coalition forces let by the United States.

However, the German military will not be participating in active combat.

Meanwhile, United States, United Kingdom and other partners are heavily bombing on the sites on Isis in Syria.
