Ikea, the Swedish furniture company, faced with the enormous love of its customers who is trying to use the beds as a place for a sleepover. Ikea in its recent message has warned its customers to stop these ‘overnight snooze’ incidents.
According to the statistic, Ikea has discovered at least 10 sleepover ‘stops’ in various countries over the past couple of months. To clear the situation, on Thursday, Ikea released a statement, which said:
“We appreciate that people are interested in Ikea and want to create fun experiences, however the safety and security of our co-workers and customers is our highest priority and that’s why we do not allow sleepovers in our stores.”
As a matter of fact, such a popularity and funny trend started to rise after two Belgian youngsters uploaded a video of themselves spending the night in one of the stores. ‘Two idiots at night in Ikea’ is the name of this clip.
