“For many families in our country, childcare is now the single largest expense — even more than housing,” Trump said, speaking from prepared remarks and added:
“Our plan will bring relief to working and middle class families.”
Ivanka Trump in remarks before her father’s speech said the issue of affordable childcare is a priority of hers and she seized the opportunity to address the issue because her father is “in a very unique position to do something about this problem.”
