Kate Middleton is one of the few royals who prefers to watch from the sidelines when it comes to all things equestrian. She never liked horse like all the royals, that’s why she was never seen riding a horse.
The Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t share the love to the equestrian like her husband and all his family. The British monarch adores riding, Queen Elizabeth at her 91 is regularly hopping into the saddle, but Kate didn’t grow up with such a hobby, actually, Prince William’s wife has no hobby at all.
Many royals like horses, adore riding, and Zara Tindall is the brightest example, she is an Olympic medal-winning equestrian. Queen Elizabeth is proud of her granddaughter, both royals know that horses are a great passion of them.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s husband and Prince Harry adore to play polo, but Kate prefers to watch from the sidelines. There were rumours that Kate Middleton is allergic to horses, but later people found out that the hobby simply isn’t in her blood, Kate doesn’t ride, purely because she didn’t do it growing up.

Kate Middleton emphasised in the interview that Charlotte and George like horses. The Duchess of Cambridge noted her kids has this passion about horses and although she doesn’t echo it, she’ll do her best to champion and encourage it.
When Prince George was only two years old, he received his first lesson, the happy parents were keen to get the eldest son on a horse once George was walking confidently. And the boy was delighted!
