Michelle Obama and Barack Obama hosted their final State Dinner at the White House. On Tuesday night, the First lady wore stunning Versace gown to welcoming Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his wife.

Michelle Obama looked gorgeous in the rose gold evening dress by Donatella Versace. The First lady decided to be polite and luxury hostess while she and her husband were welcoming the guests from Italy.

Michelle’s shimmery rose-gold number features an asymmetrical neckline and draped details at the bodice. Even her straightened hair adds a sleek dimension to the look.

The Prime Minister of Italy highly appreciated this smart move of Mrs Obama who chosen an Italian designer. In fact, Michelle has traditionally worn designers from the same country as her guests.

Donatella Versace has released a statement, in which thanked Michelle Obama, the designer wrote she is ‘humbled and honored to have the opportunity to dress the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama’. Moreover, she said:

‘Thank you Michelle for all of the things you have done for America and for the rest of the world, for the women in the United States and the rest of the world.’
