Obama isn’t raising taxes.
McCain keeps attacking Obama, and saying lies that he is going to raise taxes.

McCain didn’t even answer the questions that were asked.

Well, republicans are racist. McCain is going down this year. He has no respect of others and sounds like Bush. Republican’s raised taxes and it’s all their fault we are in a crisis. We need a country that doesn’t run on oil. McCain is going to use all our energy resources and cause major problems in the ecosystem. Things need to change, and it sucks knowing all we had was white president’s. McCain only thinks of himself while Obama cares for everyone.

Agreed.. Obama is a professional campaigner this is very dangerous for the country because no one REALLY knows what his plans are.

I really don’t care who won a debate. I think the fate of our country should be based on more than two guys arguing. Research the facts from non-biased sources (good luck finding those), then decide what your stance on the issues is and vote your beliefs. My views align more with McCain’s than Obama’s; yours might not. I think Obama did better in the debate, but I’m still not going to change my vote. Charisma should not be your sole reason for selecting a candidate to be president. Not respecting the flag, Reverend Wright, Ayers, and ACORN concern me. Also, miss “I don’t like this country”, Michelle Obama is a powder keg sitting next to the furnace. I’m surprised that not everyone can hear those alarms going off behind the smooth talking snake-oil salesman.

I’ve read quite a bit of people here saying McCain was so tough and Obama was showing no lack of disiplne, or whatever crap. What?! What, were you guys watching the right debate?

Obama had class and respected McCain as he lied-I mean talked. And McCain just acted like a child for the majority. He isn’t very presidential. [Not that it matters but in Hi-Def McCain's eyes were very red shot and water, it looked as if he was about to break down into tears- McCain is just a really old baby]

Obamas has spent a record dollar amount on negative campaigning.

No one in the history of the USA has so much money trying to bash one person ever.

First he bashed Hillary then McCain and now Sara Palin.

Why talk about who won last night’s debate? Let’s talk about who is more qualified to navigate USA out of this mess.

US Congress or war experience does not count, just look at what happened on wall street, under the nose of the regulators and ultimately, the congress.

The McCain world view is not much different from the Bush administration’s – Iran, Iraq, North Korea etc. Do you know why America is a great country? Because the world looked up to it for various reasons and invested in this country!!! Can you say the same is the case now? I don’t think so..

In today’s global world you need a leader that relates to this new world, who understands the technologies that drive this new world, who sees the future not through the past and who can restore America’s pre-eminence. I am not suggesting that Obama is the best man but given today’s reality, a better choice than McCain.

People bend over backwards to give McCain a positive appraisal. Were he not an aging war hero, the scores on the debate would be even more lopsided. He is not a great communicator, is condescending, insincere and wandered in responses. Though this was McCain’s best debate, it was also Obama’s best debate and so the front runner pulls further ahead.

How could the Republicans choose such a weak candidate? Two years ago, it was all about the war where McCain is clearly stronger. Now its all about the economy, and the Republicans have lead us to the brink of economic collapse. Some record.

To all those who believe McCain won, I suggest taking a look at the polls.
Even the most conservative network on television, Fox News, gave it to Obama.

McCain walked in looking like an angry, and dare I say, erratic old man. He looked like he was about to lose his head for the first 30 mins of the debate, Obama proved to look alot more competent in testy situations than McCain. Finally, do we really need a War Hawk with failed economic policies entering office when we’re at war and in financial crisis? Look whats happened on Wall Street the past few weeks, “my friends”…..

I kept holding my breath hoping Sen. McCain would not embarrass himself by saying something like ‘my fellow prisoners’ — which he did the other day –and indeed, I felt for him, as he kept mixing up words and slurring his speech in a way that Alzheimers’ people do. The short temper, emotional outbirsts, rolling the eyes, and verbal gaffes will get worse. I wish he had won against Bush in 2000. Now it’s too late. Sen. Obama’s patience does not mean he lacks fire and strength. He has run a consistent, well-organized campaign, in contrast to the chaos in McCain’s camp. McCain’s poor choice of Gov. Palin reveals his impulsivity and gambling ways(only met her once, didn’t vet her properly — and she outright lied that she had been cleared of ethics violations, in the face of reports saying she abused her power).
I lived in Arizona and knew the gamblin’ partying Mccain who turned his back on the Apaches 9the poorest of the poor in Arizona). I would never, ever vote for him, knowing what he really thinks of the poor. And he voted against so many benefits for our soldiers — whereas Sen. Obama has voted for the G.I. bill and other bills helping our soldiers. I am a former Republican urging everyone not to vote for a man who is showing signs of senility, atop his temper and temperance problems.

Give it up, McCain. You are a hostile, fragile man with out of touch ideas and a horrible running mate. During this debate people could clearly see just how much of a hothead and agressive person John McCain really is. Do you really want somebody like that to be your president? I have to say however that I thought Obama wasn’t as strong as he has been during the other two debates, he was really flat. Doesn’t matter though, he has my vote anyway.

Well Obama won that last night pretty much McCain isnt doing anything but attacking Obama with accusations He not really telling us what he is trying to put on the table as far as the schools he is a hypocrite he basically is saying public schools are for undereducated children and people charter and private schools do not have the best teachers i had a teacher in elementary school and what he taught me stuck til this day but im done VOTE OBAMA
