What studies are you talking about?  The tax brackets were shifted upwards, providing about $15 relief to lower brackets, and $660 to the highest.  Capital gains were lowered, which favors the people who are wealthy enough to invest.  The majority of people derive their income from wages, especially low income people.  

And just because revenues increased doesn&#039;t mean the tax cuts caused it; economy was bottoming out at the time, and would&#039;ve recovered without tax cuts to the rich. 

McCain&#039;s plan, like usual with Republicans, is to give rich people more money.  We&#039;ve seen massive economic growth over the past decade, and yet the people at the bottom haven&#039;t seen any gains in income.  Economic growth only help the country overall when its distributed that way, and historically the most gains go to the top.</description>
