Most GOP supporters, avidly support a strong military. Secondly, on the social issues, I can't rationalize CFL's stand on abortion- I thought the goal is to get the government OUT of people's business. If that approach was taken on social issues as well, it would pick up support from liberals who don't necessarily agree with the Democratic strategy on the economy.
