Russia is recommending all of its officials to fly home any relatives living abroad, the reason for this is tensions over the prospect of global war, as claimed. The relationships between Russia and West becomes more unfriendly, even USSR’s ex-president Mikhail Gorbachev has warned that the world is at a ‘dangerous point’ due to rising tensions between modern superpowers, Russia and the United States.
Russia wants all its sons and daughters come home, the politicians and high-ranking officers have received a warning from president Putin. According to te warning, Motherland insists on bringing home all officials and their relatives living abroad. The site Znak.com told the failure to act in such a situation will see officials jeopardising their chances of promotion and career at all.
The Russian leader Putin himself cancelled a planned visit abroad, current Syrian conflict and active involvement of Russia into this crisis’ settlement made the relationships between West and Russia extremely cold.
All the officials, administration staff, regional administrators, lawmakers of all levels and employees of public corporations have been ordered to take their children out of foreign schools immediately. The exact reason for the order is not yet clear, but local analyst Stanislav Belkovsky offers a simple explanation:
‘This is all part of the package of measures to prepare elites to some ‘big war’.
