Starbucks is giving its U.S. employees a raise

Starbucks’ boosting the compensation to its U.S. employee made a lot of noise. The U.S. store employees and managers will receive boosted compensation — by as much as 5% to 15%, said in the broad letter of the Starbucks’ Chairman Howard Schultz.

According to the official letter of Starbucks’ CEO, ALL retail employees and managers in the store across the U.S. will receive an increase in base pay. As a minimum noted 5%, as a maximum 15%. How many percents depends on geolocation as well as rest of the market aspects.

Starbucks employs about 157,000 people in the U.S, and 150,000 of those works in stores and do many other functions. In the CEO’s letter noted the changes to the company’s scheduling, health program, and even dress code.
