Syria is experiencing the hardest times, a fragile ceasefire almost collapsed. The U.S. and Russia agreed to stop the fire, now the ceasefire is especially fragile, say the military advisers. On Monday, Foreign Minister of France Jean-Marc Ayrault said it remains the only hope to resolve the conflict.
Syria and the ceasefire, the accord of the Russian and American troops, now is almost collapsed. How to monitor ceasefire violations in the real time and who will be responsible for the developing such a mechanism? The head of MFA of France said:
“The Russian-American accord is particularly fragile, but this must remain a glimmer of hope. It is the only basis on which the international community can (proceed).”
Mr. Ayrault during the press conference shared his view of the Syrian situation, he wanted Washington and Moscow to include the rest of the Syria support group into the ceasefire plan so that they could create a mechanism to monitor ceasefire violations.
The Middle East is an eternal headache for the EU politics, a current situation in Lybia, for example, is far from the perfect. According to Mr. Ayrault, the situation is worsening day by day, that fact is worrying France very much.
