Joshua D. Brown, a 40-years-old driver of Tesla Model S, was killed as a result of traffic incident on May, 7. The Autopilot system and the indicators of a car failed to distinguish the white side of a turning tractor-trailer from a brightly lit sky. Thus, Autopilot didn’t automatically activate its brakes.
