The best way to bring about change is to put ourselves into the positions of power. We do this by putting pressure on those who currently have it, enough pressure until they are forced to get out of the way or agree with us. We do this by attacking them from the top down and from the bottom up. We already have the grassroots power in place, but they are currently relatively safe as they still reside in the upper tiers of governmental power. But once we put into place the uppermost position of power (Ron Paul as president), we will control the top and the bottom, and they will have nowhere to hide. I don't expect RP to accomplish much during his first term. But he will definitely be putting pressure on Congress to either fall in line with his (correct) policies, or get out of the way for someone who will. In 2010 the House will fall in line. We'll have to wait longer for the Senate, but definitely by 2012 they should all be working together.

This, of course, is all just idealistic.
