For of those of you who do not know what this day means. It means 1.5 million plus in the bank for a presidential candidate in one day. All of this money will come from online supporters of Ron Paul for their candidates campaign. Why is everybody so fascinated by all of Ron Paul’s grassroots efforts? Because it is so incredibly hard to grasp… Some rejoice, some dismiss, and some just are just plain terrified of his support. 18,000 people getting together for a cause they believe in. 18,000 people donating anywhere from 1 million to 3 million all in one day. This was not set up by the Ron Paul campaign. If you ask me, Ron Paul is not running the majority of his campaign. Ron and his staff are managing only a small fraction of what is going on. If you calculate all the time spent, all the materials donated, all of the free publicity that his supporters have spawned it would amass to an amount that no other 2008 candidate has risen thus far.

I have seen people on various boards dismiss this event in its entirety. Saying that these 18,000 people are all of the supporters Ron Paul has. This sentiment is, I am sure, a result of Fox News, the hucksters, and just about every main stream media report. People can not handle the true vast nature of the Ron Paul campaign. Nobody has ever seen a campaign like this. Nobody has ever seen this many supporters like this. The more and more people witness of the Ron Paul support, the little engine that could, the more and more they get scared.

November 5th was a very ignorant choice by the originators of this effort. Watch or read V for Vendetta, and you will see the significance of this date. This is not the only date that supporters or Ron Paul have chosen… Look for big jumps of donations on thanksgiving, Christmas, even Dec 16 the Boston tea party day.

No matter who you support for candidate, take a moment and watch the liberty counter climb (www.RonPaul2008.com) on November 5th 2007. You cannot doubt that Ron Paul has become a viable candidate, in fact much more viable than your standard republican candidate.
