Fred Thompson did not know about his political advisor’s past that much is for sure. In a noble move Thompson did not hang his friend “I’m not going to throw my friend under the bus for something he did, you know, 25 years ago if he’s OK now.” This is what separates Thompson from Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani…
