Three New Pennsylvania Polls Show Clinton Back on Top
That is the way Pennsylvania is going. Hillary Clinton has had the lead from day one, that is until last month when it looked like Barack Obama was about to score another upset. Now it looks like it is going back in Senator Clinton’s favor.
Pennsylvania is important, very important for both candidates. It is the last state with a large number of delegates to be divided up and can be the final turning point. The primary is just about 2 weeks away now and the eyes of the pollsters will be focused on Pennsylvania like never before.
To give you an idea of just how up and down the Pennsylvania race has been, on March 30, Survey USA showed Hillary Clinton in the lead by 53 to 41% with just 2% undecided. At practically the same time, on March 31, Rasmussen Reports showed Hillary Clinton in the lead by 41 to 42% with 11% undecided. According to Public Policy Polling, on April 1, Barack Obama was leading by 45 to 43% with 12% undecided and now in the three latest polls Clinton is back in the lead. An April 3 poll by poll by Muhlenberg College shows Hillary Clinton in the lead by 51 to 41% with 9% undecided. On April 2. Quinnipiac University released a poll that showed Clinton leading 50 to 41% and Insider Advantage on April 3 showed Clinton in the lead by 45 to 42% with 12% undecided.
What the two candidates do this next week will be some of the most important of their political careers. Every word, every action will be watched by not only the citizens of Pennsylvania, but the whole nation. And will have a major impact on the remaining primaries. Even with the chance of the delegates from Michigan and Florida being able to be seated and the votes from their primaries counted, it is becoming more and more apparent that if neither one of the candidates drops out, the final decision will be made at the convention with super delegates making a huge difference.
One thing for certain, this is one election that will be talked about for years, and there will be more books written about it than any previous one. No matter which candidate comes out on top, it will be a first and this is only the prelude to the November election, when things can get really interesting.

This is proof of Sen. Clinton’s enviable ability to avoid disaster. The fact that Jim Hoffa issued a statement just last week doubting her sincerity in supporting unions should be important in Pennsylvania. Her number one staff person, Mark Penn, was caught last week meeting with a rep from Colombia’s embassy because this South American country was paying Penn big big bucks as a lobbyist to push the trade deal that Sen. Obama and supposedly Sen. Clinton oppose and to manage the union issue for the Colombians. Throught all of this, not a word from Clinton on this subject? How could she not know what her top strategist was doing? Maybe she believes that if nothing is said and you distract voters with other things it will all go away…so far it seems to be working.

When you consider that Clinton was up by 26 points less than three weeks ago, and is much better known, and considering that PA has a lot of rednecks, this shows a remarkable gain for Obama.
Frankly, I think anyone who votes for someone who lies about being under sniper fire in Bosnia is as delusional as the candidate herself has proven to be….. Anyone see what she said in Oregon yesterday, about how she criticized the Iraq war before Obama ? This is one sick woman

Not only did Mark Penn, Hillary’s top strategist, meet privately to get the Colombia trade agreement passed (an agreement Hillary “says” she opposes), her husband Bill is a close personal friend of Uribe, Colombia’s president.
Bill Clinton has been involved with exchanges of millions of dollars between Uribe and other foreign dignitaries, which involve personal payments to him. These same people have contributed to Hillary’s campaign.
Ask yourself why Uribe criticized Obama for opposing the trade agreement yet said not one word about Hillary’s opposition; it’s very telling about where Hillary really stands on the trade agreement and the further loss of US jobs.

I realize this is probably naive, but if I were Barack I think I would be tempted to outspend Clinton 7 or 8 to 1, and campaign exclusively in Pennsylvania until April 22. I have to believe he would have a 5% to 10% point lead in PA if he would just go all out there. It would also force her to stay in the state, throw even more of her resources into advertising there, and she has never been as effective on the stump as he has.
What am I missing here? Why even let this thing to some of the upcoming primaries that will probably breath new life into her campaign like West Virginia, Kentucky, Puerto Rico and maybe even Indiana?

The suggestion that Senator Clinton’s service as First Lady somehow qualifies her as the person most ready to be President of the United States is a ludicrous assertion. Perhaps then she and Laura Bush should share a ticket. It would, however, be difficult to determine who of the two has the most experience to be President. After all, Laura Bush has traveled around the world and given her opinion regarding many significant issues. However, I don’t recall Laura Bush, (as first lady) blatantly lying about being shot at in Bosnia, risking a possible US invasion of that country! Or lying about her daughter being near the twin towers when they got hit, and spinning an outlandish tale of how she (Chelsea) had to run for her life, just to win a seat in the senate! The fact is Senator Clinton is a liar! She lied when she said she put pressure on Bill to intervene in Rwanda, and she lied to the voters in Ohio as she now lies to the voters in your state, when she says she fought against NAFTA. As the White House papers show, she was a huge proponent of NAFTA. Taking an extremely tragic story about a poor pregnant woman (Trina Bachtel) losing her baby and her own life after being denied hospital treatment because she couldn’t afford a $100 fee. The New York times exposed yet another Clinton lie, reporting that the she (Trina Bachtel) was never denied treatment, and that she did have insurance. “We implore the Clinton campaign to immediately desist from repeating this story,” said a representative of the hospital. Senator Clinton will use anyone and do anything to win this nomination and she has completely fabricated her foreign relations experience!
During Bill Clinton’s presidency Senator Clinton was not qualified to speak in any official capacity, nor was she in a position to sign peace treatise or broker deals. It’s absolutely absurd and offensive to the intelligence of thinking individuals to suggest otherwise. She was however given the official position to head and be the chairwoman of the Task Force on National Health Care Reform. As usual she attempted to secretly draft the bill, botched the job, turned Democrats against her and effectively galvanized the Republican Party to work in unity against the Democrats!
Now fast forward to the Clinton’s tax returns revealing 118m gross income, much of it earned through former President Clinton’s speeches, and the not so subtle lobbying of the insurance company responsible for halting the 1993 health care reform plan of the Clinton Administration. Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA), now America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), paid President Clinton $150,000.00 dollars in June of 2005, to deliver a speech to their board. I believe it should raise a red flag to those supporting/endorsing Senator Clinton to recognize the problematic relationship created by this. The language that now crafts Senator Clinton’s health care plan, mirrors AHIP’s proposal in remarkably unsettling ways that warrant examination, particularly if these speeches point to the possible currying of future favors granted by Senator Clinton, “should” she become President.

Senator Obama has far more legislative experience than Senator Clinton. He served as an Illinois senator for 8 years and has only 2 less years of congressional experience than Senator Clinton. His experience as a community organizer, civil rights attorney, Illinois State Senator and US Senator will enrich the position of President and bring about a positive change much needed in Washington.

If only the media were more objective in their reporting- without the hype and the slants- voters would have focused more on the important issues that help shape America’s economy and future. HILLARY CLINTON would have undoubtedly clinched the Democratic nomination by now.

This is a disaster for Hillary as she needs to win PA by 65/35. Anything less is a failure on her part and our movement. She should currently be in PA and not Montana. Montana and North Delegates are far less important at this time.
PA has the largest single block of delegates - 158. A 65/35 split will give her a margin of 47 delegates while 55/45 will only give her 16 delegates. Making people buy yard signs instead of making the available free would make matters worse. Anything less than 60/40 which is a margin of 32 shall require close self assessment of this thing.
NY needs Hillary to run for Governor. She needs to preserve her integrity,class and energy to battle with Ruddy for the post.

Last March, Rhode Isand beat Obama by 58% to 40%.

I wonder why most people still haven’t realized that Hillary Clinton cannot win anymore barring a 25% lead in all coming primaries (meaning 37%:62%) which she has acomplised in exactly one state so far.
Since super Tuesday Obama gained 96 Super Delegates. In the same time Clinton lost a net of 2 Super delegates. There are less than 400 Super Delegates outstanding!
This is over, and Clinton is spending donated money by Democrats in a fight that helps the Republicans.

Obama can fool some of the people all of the time (ages 18 -25) and he can fool all of the people some of the time but he can not fool all PA all of the time. Vote Hillary Clinton or we will get McCain.

As a Pennsylvania voter myself, I find myself being increasingly turned off by the divisive rhetoric and constant insults hurled at Senator Clinton by Obama supporters. It has put me solidly in the Clinton camp — it seems all I ever hear from Obama people is vague rhetoric and Clinton insults. No detailed policies.

Firstly i think the media has been giving Obama the best free ride i have ever seen in a polictial race in my life….yeah he had the trouble with the Rev Wright, but still he is ridding a very good wave at the moment. And i think it is very wrong that all media is attacking Hillary….dont you Americans know how much Hillary has done for America…i’m not talking about First Lady years…she had done so much for women movement, blacks etc during her college years…yet nothing like that gets published, just all the negative stuff….she is such a strong person who will turn America around for the good…people stop need to be bashing her and start getting behind her before its to late. The way that things are going, we will end up being stuff around again for either another 4 years or 8 years….so the choice is yours America….do we want another 4 or 8 years of another bush (McCain or Obama) or do we want someone thats going to make a change….WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ROSES….Obama is the right guy for the job at all….he is a liar, he is anti-american, sorry but he knew very well what went on at his church, not only does he borrow money from a crim, he lies about it….

Hillary has dedicated her life to this country. Positives and negatives, we have all known her throughout the years. She is smart, tough and would serve the country well as President. Obama is a neophyte being used by the big names in the Democratic Party. He is ambitious, wants to be President and seems electable (although I think McCain could beat him). What we know of his political past in Illinois is that he is a cutthroat arrogant politician that will do what he has to to get what he wants. Don’t believe all this “Yes we can” crap. He must be stopped.
