Which candidate will give us the best gains?

Where is this economy heading? The bulls say our economy is growing fast and that there is no need to worry at all. Others are worried that the collapse of the dollar, the home mortgage crisis, and our foreign policy. What are those things going to do to our economy? Our economy is not keeping up with some other foreign markets that are growing like nothing else. People have and will continue to invest in those markets because that is where the growth and the money lies.

I manage my own investments; nobody else touches my investments unless I have a money in a mutual fund. But, what I am saying I control my own money, just like so many other American investors. This means I worry about my money and try to manage it as wisely as I can. Since starting my portfolio in the beginning of august 2007, I have 13% more than what I started with… 13% in a little less than 3 months is very good… If this keeps up within a year my portfolio will almost have doubled. Most of my picks are with companies that are growing. I really feel that the only thing holding back a few of these stocks is the economy. No matter how good a pick is… It really does ride on how well the economy is doing.

Candidates that support fear mongering and a war in Iran, as well as Iraq, hurt the economy. Fears of socialized health care, or socialized anything for that matter, hurts the economy. We need incredibly low taxes so people purchase, consume, save, and invest. Reagan restored faith in America which started a economy boom. During Bill Clinton’s Presidency the upward trend continued, large in part by the internet boom. I really don’t care if you hate Bill Clinton the man knew what makes a good economy. I am not saying Hillary Clinton does… I am also not saying any of the Republican frontrunner’s do either.

If you care about your investments the growing trend is supporting Ron Paul for President of the United States. He will restore faith in America and America’s economy yet again; even more than Reagan could ever have hoped during his Presidency.

I do my research for months before I buy and always know what I am holding and what I feel the stock will do. If I have my doubts, I sell the stock and would not recommend it. Many people just need to trim the fat from their portfolios.
