Obama’s Green Job’s Czar Resigns, Glenn Beck Leader of Republican Party.
As scary as this may sound… Glenn Beck might actually have more power than anybody else representing the republican party. As the republican party seemingly has no leader in their ranks, at least one that can represent the voice of the people. Even though Glenn Beck is an independent, he represents more republicans than the republican party. The resignation of Van Jones signals that Glenn Beck’s words do not fall on deaf ears. The view’s of Glenn Beck have been labeled “extreme” from just about everyone on the left. Van Jones views are arguably just as extreme, if not more so. link
Glenn Beck’s ratings are arguably the highest among cable “news” network programs. Glenn Beck, at the horrible 5pm time slot, are getting ratings that are right under the likes of Bill O’Reilly, and surpassing Sean Hannity. Those two programs appear in FoxNews prime time lineup just imagine if Glenn Beck took over the Hannity slot. Just for reference Glenn Beck is being watched by almost three times as many people who watch Keith Olbermann who is msnbc’s best watched program. ( Source )
Support Political Lore; Visit Our Advertisers
Glenn Beck is being attacked himself, as we so duly noted in our story about Glenn Beck being called a rapist and a murderer. Perhaps attacking Glenn Beck and boycotting his advertisers is backfiring for the left, as the controversy is helping Glenn Beck significantly. If you are successfully getting advertisers to not advertise on Glenn Beck’s program, but at the same time increasing his ratings by a large margin… you are doing nothing but breaking even. My view is, let the man say what he wants, it is cable news mind you… If Glenn Beck was on network news, that would be a different story. Glenn Beck says things that are not any worse than Olbermann or Bill O’Reilly, and I argue if you hate Fox News, you have to hate MSNBC. You cannot argue that MSNBC is any better, or less one sided, than is FOX News.
Glenn Beck has a following that is a cross between Rush Limbaugh supporters and Ron Paul supporters, something that has much more power than what the left has seen before. These people are upset, and they know how to successfully handle things in a grassroots fashion. Glenn Beck is not a typical republican, his views line up closer to the hybrid mix of libertarianism and conservatism, much like Ron Paul himself.
Comment by Jason on 6 September 2009:
Funny… only problem is Glenn Beck isn’t a Republican.
Comment by Rich N. on 6 September 2009:
Excuse me, first of all Glenn is not a republican, he is a libertarian with neo-con ideology. He does not have the support of the Ron Paul republicans. He does have there attention. The Ron Paul Republicans don’t trust him all to much, but do reconise he does once get it right. Once in a while. With that he might help the Ron Paul Republicans make there point. The republican party and the demacratic party is to blame for this mess we are in. No doubt about that. Both parties have been hyjacked. The Republican party by neo-cons…who just don’t get it, and the Demacratic party by the radicals. Either way it doesn’t look good for the American People.
Comment by DRey on 6 September 2009:
Whether he’s Republican or Libertarian or Democrat, I don’t care. The fact is he’s giving a voice to a very powerfully pissed off group of conservatives right now. This guy isn’t going to stop and neither are we until the hijacker of the American presidency and his socialist thugs are not only removed from office, but are cut out of American society like the cancer they are.
Comment by M. Pillette on 6 September 2009:
Glenn Beck is a Libertarian however, he really stresses not to be bound by party lines. He believes that this country is great and the it’s a Republic. He supports the 9/12 Project which has 9 principles and 12 values. Also, his book, Common Sense, explains his views. He did have issues with Van Jones’ radical views and exposed and questioned them. He’s not looking for power or to lead the Republican party. He is looking for an America that we saw on September 12, 2001. Party lines came down, Cogress sang, “God bless America” on the steps of Congress, and Americans were one in the pain and suffering of that tragic day.

When are we going to hear a denial of the news that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a young girl in 1990?
Comment by xinunus on 6 September 2009:
DON’T YOU JUST LOVE THAT THE GOVERNMENT RUN MEDIA IS IGNORING THE FACT THAT VAN JONES IS A SELF ACCLAIMED COMMUNIST?
NOT ONE WORD IN ANY STORIES THAT I HAVE READ STATING THIS HUGE FACT!!!
HEY MEDIA!!!!!!!!
VAN JONES IS A COMMUNIST. HE SAID SO HIMSELF YOU PATHETICS FOOLs!!
Comment by Tom from Bay Shore on 6 September 2009:
What Beck has done is bring the surface the facts about people who have an agenda he does not agree with. He inspired debate and awareness of some disturbing issues in political America. I, for one, researched what he ranted about over the pas few weeks. I am a very good researcher and analyst. What I found is the guy did hs homework. I does not matter if you like him or not, or want to throw stupid accusations his way to distract our view of the facts in play. I do not care what his politics are, he is spot on in his position of the current state of affairs in Wash DC. His disection of the power play in the White House is all verifiable, although there is some interpretation that may draw differing opions he stated the facts as they are not senseless accusations that we usually see from the usual hot air machines.
The best thing is that the American people see past the chanting idiots demanding he be fired for doing his job, or attempt to boycott his advertisers when his viewing base is skyrocketing (which never works).
Thak you Glenn Beck for puting the facts on the table, for making me review them for myself, and inspiring me to develop an informed opinion of the situation based on soundly transmitted information and my own pointed confirmation and assestment.
This is terrible, what will we do – people voicing informed opinion – oh my

Comment by Lorianne on 6 September 2009:
The ironic thing is Beck and Jones are very similar in their impolitic manner of speaking and their “big picture” expansive way of thinking.

I’m a 25-year + member of the Libertarian Party. Glenn Beck is about as Libertarian as they come. He represents the very heart and core of our Libertarian movement. And we Libertarians are damned proud of him.
But labeling him with Ron Paul is a bit off. Paul is on the fringe of the libertarian movement. Certainly Paul’s foreign policy views are inconsistent with libertarian beliefs. We Libertarians are strong on defense, like Beck, and greatly suspicious of Islamo-Fascism.
Beck is far more of a libertarian than Ron Paul. Beck is along the lines of Congressmen Jeff Flake, Tom McClintock and Dana Rohrabacher. A solid 100% Barry Goldwarterite.
Comment by Paul on 7 September 2009:
Who the hell are Glenn Beck, Keith Olbermann, Sean Hannity, Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz and Bill freakin O’reilly??? What makes them so great and WHY must we hang on their every word to decide what to do and how to feel. PEOPLE OF AMERICA….. PICK UP A BOOK and READ!!! Get a hold of all the topics and information you want (from an unbiased source) – (Hint: Fox News is not really fair and balanced, stupid) and READ IT then think for yourself. Stop being idiots and listeneing to every stupid word that comes out of these peoples’ unqualified, biased agenda based mouths.
Comment by Steve on 7 September 2009:
Glenn Beck is a drop out former drug addict – I should listen to him why??? Why not go to the local shelter, or prison and get their opinions on stuff. The only difference is he has a microphone, a lot of money and a big mouth.
Keith Olbermann is a crazy pshycho flunky who couldn’t hold a job as a sports announcer for crist sake. His sanity has been questioned on numerous occassions and no one would hire the guy until desperate MSNBC gave him a shot only b/c they had nothing to lose. Why are we listening to him?
Comment by Edward Peterson on 7 September 2009:
I’ve heard some really really disturbing stuff about Glenn Beck lately!! I guess they have his arrest record on the internet for something involving him in 1990? I haven’t found it but several blogs have brought it up. Has anyone else heard these rumors?? They’re very disturbing and I hope Glenn isn’t hiding anything. Has he brought them up on his show yet??
Comment by Bert on 7 September 2009:
“As scary as this may sound…”
I’ve noticed that liberals have always found the truth to be scary.
Comment by Elise L., American-Republican on 10 September 2009:
Glen Beck is fresh air! More power to him. And I am not concerned he is not a Republican. He has the Country’s best interest in mind. By the way, isn’t it interesting that the Democrates always get away with hitting below the belt? Just let a Republican say some of the low and nasty things the Dems get away with and they would come back with their fire breathing dragon defense. “Those people” and “those far left Republicans”, those “mentally disturbed far rights”. Doesn’t anyone remember the America where we are all one people working side by side for our country? Protecting America? I wonder how the military feel about our country going down the drain while they give their lives for us? It’s time the people stood up and were counted. Democracy demands that we stand up and shout our concerns until they are heard.
Democrates that sit idle in Congress and the Senate need to re-exam why they are sitting in that seat. Not just for special interests but for the good of all the people. A Democrat led bankrupt America makes no sense. If I have no job and no income and I am overwhelmed in debt what do I do? Go to work to fix it. Analyse what I need to do to cut back and stop spending – especially on frills. AND I don’t take on any new debt! It is simple bookkeeping. We can’t afford the Government run health care. We all need to stand up and make our voices heard whatever position we are in. It’s our Country until we are no longer a Democracy.
