Yahoo Mail Blocking Those Who Are Using Ad Blocker

Yahoo Mail may block those who are using ad blocker. Digiday has spotted it. Users are complaining in tons on Adblock Plus forum experiencing the same on Firefox and Chrome.

As of now the Yahoo Mail’s blocking of ad blockers is not affecting everyone and probably the feature is just in a testing phase to see how users respond to it.

PC World writes Yahoo has been reached by them and the company said they are always developing and testing new products, and the latest one is just running for a small number of users in United States.

However, users suffering from the new feature can avoid getting blocked by changing the settings of viewing mail from Full Featured to Basic in another browser and thereafter reopening the Yahoo Mail in previously used browser.

Earlier this year in September Apple too welcomed the use of third-party ad-blockers on its iOS operating system.
