A 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit Chile.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 has hit Chile, according to the National Seismological Center.

The shocks were recorded at 3.19 local time at a depth of 34 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 18 kilometers west of the city of Ovalle in the central part of the country.
