A corridor for ships with grain Will start to work in the Black Sea

In the next two weeks, a safe corridor for the passage of ships with grain will begin to operate in the Black Sea.

Earlier, the Turkish presidential administration said that the document on the “grain issue” would be signed in Istanbul on Friday. The ceremony will be attended by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary General António Guterres.

On July 13, negotiations were held in Istanbul between the delegations of the Russian Federation, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN to settle the “grain issue”. Following their results, the parties agreed to establish a coordination center in Ankara. In the ports from which it is planned to export grain, representatives of Russia, Turkey and Ukraine will monitor the entire process – from the departure of ships from the ports to their entry into points of arrival.
