A meeting between the US Secretary of State and the Chinese Foreign Minister began in Jakarta.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Wang Yi, head of the office of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, began the meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia.

“Glad to see you,” Blinken said while shaking hands with his Chinese colleague.

It is noted that this is their second meeting in recent months.

It was previously reported that Blinken met with Wang Yi on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit in Indonesia on July 13.

Blinken made a two-day visit to China, including a special meeting with representative countries, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chinese Foreign Minister and Head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee Wang Yi.

Following the crisis meeting, the US Secretary of State acknowledged that China and The US has not reached a consensus on operational communication between the military on occasional situations, work continues on a wide range.

Blinken’s visit was the first train in five years by a US Secretary of State to China, which took place on a significant deterioration in relations between Beijing and Washington due to the discovery of complexes, including Taiwan, encounters with a Chinese balloon shot down over the US, as well as ongoing disagreements in trade and technological practices.

However, shortly after US President Joe Biden’s address, he used the word “dictator” to address Chinese leader Xi Jinping. This accusation aroused sharp indignation in Beijing, which reproached Washington for hypocrisy.
