About 160 cars were set on fire last night in France during riots that broke out after the killing of a 17-year-old by a policeman, local media reported on Tuesday.

“There were 202 fires in public places, 159 cases of arson of cars and 24 cases of damage, arson or attempted arson of buildings,” the report says.
