In Germany, farmers dissatisfied with budget austerity measures went on strike on Monday and blocked a number of autobahns with tractors, local police departments reported on social networks.

Protests are taking place in almost all federal states.
In particular, as part of a protest coordinated with law enforcement officers, farmers blocked with tractors the A4, A13, A14, A17 highways and their exits in the federal states of Saxony and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
