An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 was recorded in northern Italy, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reports.

The earthquake was recorded at 03.10 UTC time. The epicenter was located 5.9 kilometers northwest of the commune of Marradi in the Tuscany region, where about 3.4 thousand people live.


The outbreak lay at a depth of ten kilometers.
