Apple asked its suppliers to strictly adhere to the Chinese government’s labeling requirements for components manufactured in Taiwan.

Among the consequences for Taiwan from the visit of Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi is China’s tightening of requirements on the island’s exported products. In particular, electronic components manufactured in Taiwan must be marked “Taiwan, China“.
