Barbra Streisand and Barack Obama will pay tribute to the outstanding politician and Israeli leader Shimon Peres. Both singer and ex-president of the United States will appear in the documentary ‘Never Stop Dreaming: The Life and Legacy of Shimon Peres’.
Actress Barbra Streisand said she is happy to take part in the creating the new documentary film about the late president and PM of Israel. Shimon Peres’s personality is a part of the history and diplomacy, so filmmakers invited other politicians like Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Benjamin Netanyahu, Tony Blair who personally met Mr Peres.
Richard Trank, the Oscar-winning documentary film director helms the project, which is being produced by Moriah Films, the documentary film production division of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. As Trank noted:
“We’re in the final stages now and the plan is to now have it done in the middle to latter part of the fall.”

Filmmakers hope to have a finished product by this fall, shop it around the festival circuit, and premiere the film for a benefit for the Simon Wiesenthal Center. The forthcoming documentary promises to become a real event in the world of the documentary – born in ex-USSR Shimon Peres embodies the whole epoch in the history of the world and Israel as an independent state.
