Berlin promised to study the note demanding reparations from Poland

Berlin received a note demanding reparations from Poland and promised to study it. This was stated during the briefing by the representative of the German Foreign Ministry Christopher Burger.

“Yes, the Polish side’s note has been received by the Foreign Ministry, and we, of course, will study it. What form the answer will take will be the result of this check. We can assume that the diplomatic forms provided for this will be used,” he said.

Christopher Burger also stressed that the day before, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock had already commented on the note sent by Poland in Warsaw. In particular, the minister said that the German authorities consider the issue of reparations legally closed.
