Biden called on oil and gas producers around the world to increase production

The administration of US President Joe Biden is urging oil and gas producers around the world to increase production, US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said Sunday in an interview with CNN.

“The president has asked all suppliers around the world to increase production. This includes OPEC, this includes our domestic oil and gas producers,” she said.

Granholm also said that she plans to meet with the heads of US oil and gas companies next week.
