Blinken spoke about the concern of the United States because of the accusations of foreigners in the DPR

The United States is concerned about reports that the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic has indicted British, Swedish and Croatian citizens for participating in hostilities in Ukraine, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said on Twitter.

“We are concerned about reports that illegitimate authorities in eastern Ukraine are indicting citizens of the UK, Sweden and Croatia,” Blinken wrote, adding that prisoners of war have the right to protection.

On August 1, the Supreme Court of the DPR received a case against Swedish citizen Mathias Gustavsson, Croatian citizen Vekoslav Prebeg and three British citizens John Harding, Dylan Healy and Andrew Hill. All five are accused of mercenarism.
