Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino could be working together again, the first time since the “Inglorious Basterds” hit. Now, Quentin is going to direct the drama about the tragic events of summer’69 when Charles Manson’s gang murdered the people in cold blood.
Brad Pitt could take on a role in the crime drama about Hollywood of 1969 – the old good friend Quentin Tarantino along with long-time producers Harvey and Bob Weinstein have a plan to make a drama about Manson Family murders. So far, the talks are underway, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lawrence are on the board.
The Manson murders became the subject of another Hollywood project: NBC presented drama “Aquarius,” starring David Duchovny as the fictional Detective Hodiak and Gethin Anthony as Charlie Manson. After two seasons, that drama was cancelled but Quentin Tarantino caught the idea and now is going to make the crime drama on the base of the cult leader’s commune formed in California during the late 1960s.
Tarantino and Pitt will work together in the movie about Charlie Manson
Drama on Manson Family would be Tarantino’s first film to be based on true events, the story will be focused on Roman Polanski’s wife. In 1969, the heavily pregnant Sharon Tate was murdered by Manson and his adepts. The night of August 8, 1969 became the most tragic date in the history of Los Angeles, that night Manson Family cult just attacked the inhabitants of Polanski-Tate’s house in LA.
Charles Manson was imprisoned in 1971, he is still an inmate of the LA prison.
