Brigitte Macron joined Donald Trump and Melania at a working dinner in Brussels

Brigitte Macron joined Donald Trump and Melania at a working dinner in Brussels

The first lady of France met with her American counterpart and her husband in Brussels, Belgium where they had a working dinner, Express reported. Emmanuel Macron was glad to see Trumps again, they spent together last year’s The Bastille Day.

The working dinner in Brussels gathered not only French and American presidents and their wives, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, his wife Ingrid, and Angela Merkel were there, too. Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and his wife Amelie Derbaudrenghien also were invited for dinner later on Wednesday.

A dinner at The Parc du Cinquantenaire, in Jubelpark Park in Brussels, proved one more time that Brigitte Macron is one of the most stylish first ladies of the world. The French former-teacher looked stunning in a white and black suit, her look exemplified the chic style that Brigitte is well-known for. The first lady’s white tuxedo jacket featured black lapels and buttons.

Trump’s visit to Europe and NATO issues

Wednesday’s meeting has seen leaders from all the countries in the NATO come together, and at the event, President Trump has urged the members to commit more to military spending. POTUS has tweeted:

“What good is NATO if Germany is paying Russia billions of dollars for gas and energy?

“Why are there only 5 out of 29 countries that have met their commitment?

“The U.S. is paying for Europe’s protection, then loses billions on Trade. Must pay 2 per cent of GDP IMMEDIATELY, not by 2025.”

While President of the US insisted on the rising NATO allies’ military budget, Melania Trump spent a rather busy day. On Wednesday evening, she was visiting a music academy outside of Brussels where she was treated to the Tchaikovsky performance along with other material at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo.

The 48-year-old Mrs Trump wore a navy blue Calvin Klein calf-length dress with white and green detail on the lapel and white Louboutin heels with their trademark red soles. The dress was designed by a Belgian, Raf Simons, for Calvin Klein, while Brigitte Macron opted for the off-white outfit.
