Britain and G7 countries are working on the resumption of grain exports from Ukraine

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky London’s help in resuming grain exports from Ukraine.

The prime minister assured that Britain is intensively working on the problem of food supplies with international partners, including with the G7 countries. Zelensky and Johnson agreed that what is now needed is for Russia to relax the blockade and allow safe shipping routes to be established.

The European Union has already announced that at the summit on May 30-31, the countries will discuss the possibility of exporting Ukrainian grain from the Black Sea ports under the escort of the navy.

On May 23, Johnson made a promise to Zelensky to seek the resumption of Ukrainian grain exports. According to the politician, it is necessary that all members of the world community provide assistance to the Ukrainian side in its struggle for freedom, both right now and in the long term.
