British MP called the possible timing of the use of nuclear weapons

In the next ten years, tactical nuclear weapons may be used in the world, said Tobias Ellwood, a deputy of the ruling Conservative Party in the UK.

In his opinion, this is due to the growing tension in the international arena.

“We live in an extremely difficult decade. Our world will change. I believe, no matter how scary it sounds, that we will see the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the next ten years,” Ellwood admitted.

The parliamentarian believes that Britain needs a “new Winston Churchill” who would help the country survive a “very difficult” decade.

The head of the British Foreign Office, Liz Truss, who is participating in the race for the seat of the country’s prime minister, said earlier that she would be ready, if necessary, to press the button to launch a nuclear weapon.
