Bus Bombed In Tunisia, 12 Killed

A powerful explosion killed Tuesday at least 12 that tore through a bus carrying Tunisian presidential guards in the heart of the capital.

This is the latest militant attack in the country and it is believed a bomber may have detonated explosives while in the vehicle.

Witness said the bomb hit driver’s side and it is not yet clear whether the presidential guards have been only killed or even the civilian bystanders.

No terror group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack even though the North African country was targeted twice in 2015. In March at least 20 people were killed when two youths gunned down on innocent people including foreigner. Later in June a gunman executed 38 people at a beach resort in the coastal town of Sousse.

Tunisia has been always alleged to be one of the largest exporters of militants from the region to Syria and Iraq.
