China launched reusable spacecraft into orbit using CZ-2F rocket

China has successfully launched a launch vehicle with an experimental reusable spacecraft. This was reported by China Central Television.

It is noted that the launch was carried out using a Long March-2F (CZ-2F, Long March-2F) launch vehicle from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome in Gansu Province. After completing tasks in orbit, the device will land in a given area of ​​China.


Details of the experimental apparatus are not given. The SpaceNews publication suggested that the Chinese device is similar to the American X-37B mini-shuttle.


In July 2021, the Xinhua News Agency reported that the Chinese reusable suborbital spacecraft made its first flight. The device successfully landed at the Alashan-Yutsi airfield.
