China suspends cooperation with the US in a number of areas. This is stated in a statement on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

According to Beijing’s position, the dialogue is temporarily suspended within the framework of regional military cooperation, as well as in the form of working meetings between representatives of the Chinese and US defense ministries. In addition, meetings with US representatives on the topic of maritime security are suspended.

Negotiations with Washington on climate change, cooperation in the fight against drugs, partnership in the field of justice, repatriation, combating international crime, illegal migration are being terminated.
