Hillary Clinton is a proactive fundraiser, and in Silicon Valley to accumulate needed sums was helping Apple’s SEO Tim Cook. He hosted one of Dem. fundraising gala in Palo Alto on Wednesday.
Hillary Clinton’s late-summer fundraising tour is coming to the Bay Area on Wednesday with two galas, one of the evenings hosted by Tim Cook and Lisa Jackson, CEO and vice-president of Apple corporation respectively. They’ve raised money for the Hillary Victory Fund, which allocates money to the Clinton campaign, the Democratic National Committee and Democratic Party operations in 38 states.
The fundraising gala in Palo Alto tickets ranged from $2,700 to $50,000 — Hillary Clinton attended at the Palo Alto home of Amy Rao, who is fundraising bundler and supports Clinton during a long period.
Prior to joining the Palo Alto gala, Clinton attended a similar event in Beverly Hills, where basketball star Earvin “Magic” Johnson opened his home for the fundraising gala. Those tickets cost $33,400, an event was hosted by Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.
