Colonel McGregor announced the shortage of US weapons for the war with China due to supplies to Ukraine

Former adviser to the secretary of defense, retired colonel Douglas McGregor spoke about the role of the United States in the situation in Ukraine

McGregor exposed the US error in the conflict in Ukraine and suggested that Washington would face a shortage of stockpiles of precision-guided missiles and ammunition for a hypothetical war with China. This may be due to the fact that the United States supplied weapons to Ukraine. He suggested that in the confrontation over Taiwan, the US Navy is blockading the Pacific coast of China.

“But the blockade will not deprive China of a major strategic advantage. The country’s depth on a continent with friendly, resource-rich Russia to the north suggests a blockade is unlikely to succeed,” he said.

The colonel added that the US Army will experience a shortage of a number of weapons due to the duration of the blockade.

“Judging by the rate of consumption of ammunition and precision-guided weapons systems of all kinds in Ukraine, the current stocks of precision-guided missiles and munitions in the United States will be quickly depleted,” McGregor concluded.

Earlier, McGregor accused the Pentagon of a scam with aid allocated to Ukraine. According to him, the allocation of funds to Kyiv becomes a “vicious circle” that enriches those who are important to Capitol Hill and help Joe Biden to be re-elected to the presidency.
