The British actor Daniel Craig is not only the celebrity, he is doing his best to fulfil the promises of Princess Diana to reach the landmine-free word in 2025. The date April 4 is the Mine Awareness Day, and another famous British person stressed the importance of the safe life for everyone – Prince Harry asked for 100 million to complete mother’s mission. In 1997, the Princess Diana promised to get rid of all the landmines and explosive remnants of war to 2025.

The UN Global Advocate, Mr Craig, promotes the mine action through the UN specialised agency Mine Action Service (UNMAS). The Hollywood star raises funds for demining work, such leadership, courage and commitment to peace is highly appreciated by the UNSG.
