Denmark and Sweden sent a letter to the UN assessing the termination of the leak at Nord Stream.

The Nord Stream operator expects the leak to stop on October 2, while for Nord Stream 2 an assessment is still pending, follows from the annex to a letter sent to the UN by Denmark and Sweden. The text of the document, dated September 29, was posted on Twitter by Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde.

“According to the Nord Stream operator, the leaks will continue until October 2. With regard to Nord Stream 2, the same assessment is yet to come,” the attachment to the letter says.

It also says the damage was caused by at least two explosions.
