Fifteen military men in Armenia were killed, three are in serious condition as a result of a fire in the barracks, the press service of the country’s defense ministry reported.

The fire in the military unit, located in the village of Azat, Gegharkunik region, broke out at 01.30 local time.

“According to preliminary data, as a result of a fire in the barracks of an engineer company of one of the military units, 15 servicemen were killed, and the condition of three servicemen is assessed as serious,” the report says.
