Erdogan announced telephone conversations with Putin and Zelensky.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said he would soon hold telephone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky.

“I saw that Mr. Putin is much softer and more open to negotiations (with Kyiv) than in the past. We will see where this can lead during the telephone diplomacy that we will have in the coming days, after listening to both leaders,” Erdogan said on his return from Azerbaijan.

Earlier, Putin at a meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation said that the Kyiv regime refused to negotiate, continues to shell new Russian territories, using terrorist methods. A few days later, following the results of his visit to Kazakhstan, Putin stressed that Kyiv had made a decision banning negotiations with Russia, “what can we talk about here then?”
